Here’s how to setup your IPBan Pro Free Trial quickly with the datacenter client.

Web Admin:

• Unzip the web admin zip file for your operating system onto the server where you wish to install it.
• If Linux, chmod +x install.sh and sudo install.sh
• If using Windows, right-click to install.bat and run as administrator
• Choose the url and whether to use iis (remember the url, you’ll enter it during the datacenter install)
• Set a username and password during installation (you’ll use this same user/password when installing the datacenter clients)
• Visit the url in your browser, log in, and verify that things are working by clicking around on the various menu options. As you install clients, they’ll show up under machines.
• The web admin service starts automatically and restarts upon reboot.

Clients:

• For the three datacenter client versions you get during the free trial, do this:
• Unzip the datacenter client zip file for your operating system onto the server where you wish to install it.
• Enter the same url, user, and password as entered when installing the web admin.
• The datacenter service starts automatically and restarts upon reboot.
• When ready, purchase however many client licenses you need and enter the license key(s) in the web amin => Licenses tab.
• Install as many additional datacenter clients as you have licenses for.
